Our Story...

...is the most annoyingly clichéd page you could possibly have on a wedding website. But you just have to have one. Because most of the people who we are inviting to this shindig have never met us before and therefore have NO idea how we met.

So here's our story.

So here's our story.

We met a long, long time ago.

In a city not far away at all.

Unless you don't live in New York, in which case it could be varying distances away from you.

But Seriously

The Meeting

Dave and Colleen actually met over a dozen years ago outside of a tiny little nightclub called Filter 14.

Then a WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF HAPPENED.

This picture was taken after all of that other stuff happened, and Colleen had just moved back to New York after doing a lot of that other stuff.

The Blocking

Then Dale came out of NOWHERE and said to Dave, "NO."

Thus began a long and at times irregular courtship that ended ultimately in their falling deeply in LOVE.

Let's not dwell on the details.

Rather...

Let's jump right to all the cute pictures.

Kennedy Space Center

This is where Dave met Colleen's grandfather, Dick, and realized that he helped design parts of the Lunar Landing Module and is therefore the coolest person he has ever met.

Dave loves Space.

Birthdays

They love doing ridiculous things for birthdays. On this night they just stood and measured their noses for eight hours straight.

Christmas Sweaters

Check back on this one in a couple years, it'll make sense then.

The Blue Voyage

This is NOT their yacht.

Classy Nightclub Stuff

They often times visit fancy nightclubs, even sometimes ones that Dave does NOT work at.

Kigurumi Madness

They developed a crippling addiction to wearing full body animal costumes/pajama onesies.

You may have noticed an inordinate amount of pictures attesting to this fact, these are not exaggerations. They really do love wearing kigus.

Daytime Parties

This picture was supposed to illustrate Dave and Colleen's love of daytime festivities.

Instead, look at that face. Dave made that face at some point in time.

Other People's Weddings

During their pre-marital relationship, they attended no less than 45 weddings together. Usually just to pose like this in front of something grandiose.

Costume Parties

Oftentimes, they go to silly costume parties thrown by their friends. They toooootally don't like going to these parties and tooooootally don't spend hours, no, days concocting and crafting costumes.

Rivals

Truly love can conquer all. Neither Colleen nor Dave are really die hard fans; in fact, they're the worst kind bandwagon fans that other fans hate.

So they've developed a kind of mock rivalry that has little to no meaning or effect on their relationship.

Botanical Gardens

These are their third favorite type of garden.
